2003                            Fulbright Visiting Scholar (Post-Doctoral) Grant for Research at Yarmouk University in  Irbid, Jordan.  Research was conducted on unpublished Latin and Greek inscriptions found in North Jordan. 

 

1995 Summer              Fulbright-Hays Group Study Abroad award for the study of Arabic at

                                    Yarmouk University in Irbid,  Jordan. U.S. Government with

                                    matching funds provided by the Dean of Arts & Sciences,

                                    Creighton University.

2004                            Jacobson Software Grant.   Money was given to purchase Filemaker Pro to assist in the sorting and filing of names found in Greek and Latin inscriptions.

 

1999                            Faculty Development Award, College of Arts & Sciences, for developing a Senior Perspective Seminar with Ron Simkins entitled, "Homo Religiosus:  Religion in the Ancient World."
