CANES Major Paige Bockman's paper, "The Burial Practices of Bronze Age Jericho: Idealized Past or Present", and

CANES Major Gretchen Stricker's paper, "Temple Boys: Re-evaluating Traditional Views on a Type of Cypriot Votive Sculpture",

have been accepted to be read at the National Conference of the American Institute of Archaeology in Seattle this January. Prof. Erin Averett has mentored both papers.

Prof. Greg Bucher has had his chapter, "A Complex Oedipus: The Tragedy of Edward Morbius", accepted for publication in the volume The Classical Tradition in Science Fiction, to be published by Oxford University Press in its Classical Presences series.

Prof. Martha Habash, has had an article, "A Greek Epitaph from Jordan", co-authored with Prof. Nabil Bader, accepted for publication in Zeitschrift für Papyrologie und Epigraphik. The article will appear in the first number of ZPE in 2013.
